General Terms of Sale
SAS LA BEAUFORTAINE
The present sales conditions are concluded on one hand by SAS LA BEAUFORTAINE, whose registered office is located at 234 Avenue du Capitaine Bulle, 73270 BEAUFORT, registered with the Albertville Trade and Companies Register under number 332 641 687, hereinafter referred to as “SAS LA BEAUFORTAINE”, and on the other hand by any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the website, hereinafter referred to as “the Buyer”.
1. Purpose
The purpose of these general sales conditions is to define the contractual relationships between SAS LA BEAUFORTAINE and the Buyer, as well as the conditions applicable to any order placed on the site, whether the Buyer is a consumer or a professional.
Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.
2. Products
The products offered are those listed on the site on the day of the order.
Given the artisanal cutting method, the weight of the slices may vary slightly. The indicated weight corresponds to the minimum guaranteed weight.
The photographs are non-contractual.
3. Prices
The prices are indicated in euros including VAT, including the applicable VAT on the day of the order.
The shipping costs are not included in the product prices and are calculated automatically at checkout based on:
- the total weight,
- the chosen carrier,
- the destination,
- the time of year.
SAS LA BEAUFORTAINE reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, the applicable price being that in effect on the day of the order.
4. Shipping and Transport Costs
4.1 Proposed Carriers
- Chronofresh: all year round, mainland France (excluding Corsica)
- Chrono Ambient 18: from October 15 to May 1, depending on eligible zones (France, Corsica, Europe)
4.2 Maximum Weight and Multiple Packages
The maximum weight per package is set at 10 kg.
When the total weight of the order exceeds this limit, it is automatically divided into multiple packages.
4.3 Free Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are free for orders over 15 kg only with Chrono Ambient, when this delivery method is available.
5. Geographical Area
Deliveries are possible:
- in mainland France all year round
- in Corsica and in certain European countries depending on the period and the carrier.
Certain destinations may be temporarily unavailable for health or logistical reasons.
6. Orders
Orders are validated after payment confirmation.
Orders must be validated by midnight on Sunday for shipment the following Tuesday.
In December: three shipments per week
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of ordering.
Accepted payment methods:
- Credit card
- Gift card
- Bank transfer (professional clients only, under conditions)
8. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to perishable foodstuffs.
9. Delivery and Reception
The products travel at the recipient’s risk.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check the condition of the packages upon receipt and to make any reservations on the carrier’s delivery note.
10. After-Sales Service (SAV)
For any questions, complaints, or requests for information regarding an order, the customer is invited to contact the after-sales service exclusively by email at the following address:

Any request must specify:
- the order number,
- the customer’s name,
- and, if applicable, photos in case of issues observed upon receipt.
No after-sales service request can be processed by phone or via social media.
11. Liability
SAS LA BEAUFORTAINE cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier or to circumstances beyond its control.
12. Personal Data
Personal data is processed by SAS LA BEAUFORTAINE in accordance with the applicable regulations.
12.1 Data Controller
The personal data collected in the context of orders placed on the site is processed by:

12.2 Data Collected
The personal data that may be collected includes:
- identity (first name, last name),
- delivery and billing postal address,
- email address,
- phone number,

12.3 Purposes of Processing

- the management and tracking of orders,
- the delivery of products,
- billing and accounting,
- the management of after-sales service,
- communication with the customer regarding their order,
- the sending of commercial or promotional information only if the customer has consented.

It may be transmitted to technical and logistical service providers (carriers, host, payment service provider) only in the strict context of order execution.
These service providers are subject to a confidentiality and security obligation.
12.5 Retention Period

- for the duration necessary for the execution of the commercial relationship,
- then archived for 5 years for accounting and legal purposes,
- data used for commercial prospecting purposes is retained for 3 years after the last contact.

- right to restrict processing,

The customer can exercise their rights at any time by contacting LA BEAUFORTAINE via the contact page of the site or by email, providing proof of their identity.
12.7 Data Security
SAS LA BEAUFORTAINE implements all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of personal data and to prevent any unauthorized access.
12.8 Complaint to a Supervisory Authority
In the event of an unresolved dispute regarding the use of their personal data, the customer can file a complaint with the CNIL (National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties).
13. Applicable Law – Disputes
These GTC are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, jurisdiction is granted to the competent courts of Paris, notwithstanding the plurality of defendants or calls for guarantees.
14. Archiving – Proof
SAS La Beaufortaine will archive the order forms and invoices on a reliable and durable medium constituting a faithful copy in accordance with the provisions of Article 1348 of the Civil Code.
The computerized records of SAS La Beaufortaine will be considered by the parties as proof of communications, orders, payments, and transactions that occurred between the parties.
