Ingredients
For 6 people
For the dough:
- 250g of flour
- 125g of butter
- 20cl of water
For the filling:
- 500g of Beaufort cheese
- 12 thin slices of Coppa
- 25cl of crème fraîche
- 25cl of whole milk
- 3 eggs
Recipe Steps
- Preheat the oven to 190 °C.
- Prepare the dough by mixing the flour, butter, and water until you obtain a smooth dough.
- Form a ball and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Butter a tart pan.
- Roll out the dough and place it in the pan.
- Prick the bottom with a fork.
- Cut the Beaufort into thin slices.
- Whisk the crème fraîche with the eggs and milk.
- Lightly salt, pepper, and add a pinch of nutmeg.
- Incorporate most of the Beaufort.
- Pour the mixture over the tart.
- Sprinkle the remaining Beaufort on top for a nice golden color.
